 | John is an emerging artist and
Milwaukee native who is composed primarily of carbon, nitrogen,
hydrogen, oxygen and space age materials. He has been creating a
variety of art since childhood with a background in culinary art,
photography, drawing and painting. His work includes landscape and
human form photography, and mixed media pieces using oil and acrylic
paint on surfaces ranging from canvas, to wood, to metal,
with a particular interest in the use of contrast between
positive and negative space. John's work has been exhibited at the annual “100 For $100 Event” in 2009, 2010 and 2011 at BYO Studio Lounge. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Marquette University, a Master's in Education from Rockford College and is a DPI licensed Special Education teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools. |
